Doing a bit of early Xmas searching.  Does anyone know where I can obtain the complete series on VHS (US) for trade or sale?  I don't have the computer equipment to download the episodes.

They are out on VHS, just not on english...
German and Spanish VHS of Season 1 was released in September the latest.

So sorry, no VHS shopping this year for most of us.

That sucks - I mean release only 9 episodes on one DVD. That is, of course, approx 200 minutes long, but hey. It's only NINE episodes.

Luckily I have almost all Futurama episodes (some in Divx which is moderate and most in RealMedia which sucks bigtime) but I'm pretty satisfied.

Although I'd love to see DVD if they would release 1ACV01-1ACV13 there with "extra" scenes and etc.

Actually it's 13 episodes, well it will be in region 2 on 29th of January 2002 which is the region I presume your talking about. Same goes for the videos.

Um, as far as I know, The Simpsons season 1 is already out in America aswell, infact I'm certain it came out on the 25th of September 2001 which was 1 day after England.

It won't take 5 years for Futurama DVDs/Videos to be released in America, more like 2 & 1/2 years because the 5 year gap is from when it first aired.

Thanks for all of the information.  I think I may have found a way to remedy the situation.
