We've done the petition thing like 3 or 4 times now Guru. We even had a really huge one hand delivered to Fox. They didn't care.

nothing to do but bug them till they do they discontinued the show because they had to choose
between simsons and futurama
the fan base for the simsons was bigger so they chose the simsons if we keep bugging they haft to do something we r there pay check after all

they didn't have to choose between Simpsons and Futurama. They just didn't like the fact that Matt wasn't giving them creative control of Futurama like he had with the Simpsons so they held a grudge.

Adult Swim would love to buy the rights to make new eps, but they can't afford it and even if they could i'm not sure Fox would sell.

We get our knowledge from many sources. Mostly interviews.

Don't. Save your money for those who actually need it, i.e. tsunami victims or any of the millions of starving, poverty-stricken people in the world.

Also, it's good that you want to make an effort to get Futurama back, but unless you have a fresh idea then don't bother.  Smaller-scale rehashes of what's already been done (e.g. a petition) are unlikely to have any effect.
