looks promising, sky are showing futurama twice again this week. Tonight at 6pm and thursday at 8.30pm
From the description it sounds like its gonna be 'Parasites Lost' tonight, and 'Bendin' in the Wind' on Thursday.
I personally love 'Bendin' in the wind' and it also got pick of the day with a 4star rating in the TV guide that i get but to be honest, if you really want a good laugh i suggest you give futurama a miss (we've all seen that ep a dozen times anyway, right?) and watch BBC2 on thursday from 7.30pm to 10pm instead.  :)

Not that any of you will, i don't even think anyone reads this weekly thread of mine  :(

Here's some potentially good news, we now know that "A Tale of Two Santas" will air in America for the first time on Christmas Eve, well it might do in the UK on Sky One aswell!

I was looking through a Christmas TV guide given away free with todays "The Sun" newspaper & on Christmas Eve there is a double bill of Futurama but unfortunately it does'nt give any descriptions. It's VERY rare to get a double bill so I think that both Christmas specials will air back to back here, just like America. I don't know for sure so if anyone finds out for sure then please do tell.

I'm tired of trying to keep track of the seemingly random scheduling. I'll catch em when I can, but til then I'll sit and wait for DVD with a petulant child's expression...

Sky's official word is that it's planned for "early 2002" - and just recently they said it would be in the new "Winter line-up" So id say probably Next month at the earliest.

On the Tale Of Two Santas issue, digiguide only has one Futurama episode on Christmas Eve, which is Xmas Story unfortunately. It's wedged between two unseasonal Simpsons though, as I suppose that could change, and maybe digiguide has old info.

SkyOne to launch their new "winter-lineup" programming schedule on Monday - January 7th

Futurama is in this winter-Lineup so we very well could have a start date for Season Four and remaining S3 eps.

woohoo!  :)

For anyone who is interested I got the Christmas issue of the radio times today & I have some good & Bad news.

The good news is that absolutly loads of Futurama repeats are on during the Christmas/New year season, one day even has two episodes & theres six days in a row aswell.

The bad news is that The radio Times contradicts the Suns TV guide and only has one episode on Christmas eve which sounds like Xmas Story. This is the description "A murderous robot Santa Clause stalks Fry" Theres only a small chance it's A Tale of Two Santas, damn Sky if it is'nt.

Heres a list of what Futurama episodes are on each day:

Saturday 22nd of December(6:00): Starship Titanic.

Christmas Eve(3:30): Cryonic Woman & Xmas Story or A Tale of two Santas(?)

Christmas Day(3:30): Parasites Lost.

Boxing Day (3:30): Amazon Women in the Mood.

Thursday 27th of December(3:30)(description): "Bender is full of pent-up frustration".

Friday 28th of December(3:30): The Cyber House Rules.

Saturday 29th of December(6:00): I dated a Robot.

New Years Eve(3:30): Insane in the Main Frame.

New Years Day(3:30): Bendin' in the Wind.

Wednesday 2nd of January(3:30)(description): "The Professor creates some Mutants".

Thursday 3rd of January(3:30)(description): "Fry is forced to use his mind".

Friday 4th of January(3:30): Luck of the Fryrish.

There you have it, a very healthy amount of Futurama during Chistmas, it's good to see it being treated the way it deserves. The episodes I've given a description for instaed of a title are because I could'nt work out which episode it is from their description. Merry Christmas.

Nope, digiguide has it as Xmas Story. I never really thought it would happen, I just heard The Sun had it as that from someone else and thought I'd post it.

Damn it, I thought it would be too good to be true. Do the Americans have a higher tolerence level for gore or something cause I don't understand why it isn't getting shown over here.

I'm looking foward to the new line up on Sky so thanx for the information the_AmyLover_1.   :)

Actually, we might. Our zealously guarded freedoms, right to bear arms, higher percentage of hunters, etc...  Not to say that you don't have those elements, but I think they're somewhat more pronounced over here.

USA has about the strictest selfcensoring rules I've seen todate. Just gore doesn't seem to be a problem mostly (changes with events like school shootouts and wtc crashes).

PS: 1st Admendment per se is a restriction, not a right

By the way I forgot to mention that on the 4th of January there is a repeat of "I second that Emotion" aswell which probably means season 2 repeats before season 4 starts.
