^You said something like, "I don't know if you want just 'Futurama' or the name of the episode." That wasn't a clear answer, but does it really matter?

Have fun in your lives everyone. I must go back to school, which means I won't have the time to make another one of these successful games for a few months. (But maybe I will. Most likely I won't.) I'll make a new thread for this game when I make a new one. (I won't continue it here.) So watch out for it in a few months.
But don't worry. You'll still see me post here. Once again, watch out for the new thread in a few months. See you in other threads!

==================================================

Please post your experiences you had playing this game. Also, please post some ideas on how I can make this game better in the future.

Woo! Go Zee-eep, go Zee-eep!

In the future, I think you should do some rounds like in Futurama Trivia Champion 1, with multiple questions at once.

But the other thing is that if you do this anytime between mid-February and June, I'll be doing crew from 3:30PM-6:00PM PST, so I personally would prefer a later time of day.

If you do it over the summer, I would probably be on vacation quite a bit, though I'm sure I'd be able to find somewhere with wireless internet for my laptop.

I'd like to see less questions posted a day (maybe 2 or 3 a day, with 50-or-so questions overall). I think it would give more people a fair chance to answer, and would also let the game run a little longer.

Anyway, good game. The questions were better than Trivia Champion #2, and it was just better overall... you know, except for the part where I didn't win.  tongue

I've had fun playing this recently, a nice little trivia game continung every day, showing who is the true trivia champion!  big grin
I'd like to see an exact number of questions decided on, perhaps 50, regardless of who it looks like is going to win. It gives some people a chance to beat people they hate (I'm lookin' at you, Andy!  tongue) and maybe only one or two questions a day.

^LOL Beamer. I love it!

Zeep: I don't think I could do rounds like I did in Trivia Champion I. That would mean I would have to eliminate players with the lowest score. (Since there really isn't any other purpose for rounds.) And I don't want this game to get closed.
As for the time, I'll probably start when I have Spring Break. (But don't quote me on that.) More likely in the summer. And even if you're champion, I have to post questions when I can. So I may or may not post at the times you suggested.

Beamer: I don't know. 4 questions per day is pretty close to 3 questions per day. (You didn't seem to have a problem at first. [Before the last few questions.]).

M0le: You have some pretty good suggestions. I will probably do what you suggest.

Maybe the current Trivia Champion could be temporary Quizmaster until somebody else wins, then that person takes over Quizmaster, and so on and so forth until Eyedol is ready to make his return?

hm... i suppose i could, but there would probably only be one or maybe 2 questions a day, and i go on vacation over the weekends a lot during the winter/spring.

what do you think, eyedol and everyone else?

EDIT: I also just realized that if i were to do this, i usually have at least a few minutes a day at school, so theoretically i could post questions at about 10:00AM, 11:00AM, and/or noon (PST). other than that, i would have to wait until about 7 or 8 PM PST.

What about offering bonus points for winning a round, or bonus rounds aside from the standard questions.  This could add an interesting twist, and offer for a come from behind win.  I'll leave you to work out the details on that, though.

M0le & Zeep: Hmmm. It would be cool to be champion of the game thread I created. I'd say yes, but school is taking up my time. (I'd want a fair chance.) Even if you decide to post at convenient times, I'd still be overloaded with Physics and Algebra. I hate to be an ass, but I'm saying no for now. (If only I had a laptop computer with internet connection. Then I'd say yes.)
But the more I think about it, the more I feel inclined to say yes. Give me a few days to think.

Zoidberg227: Excellent idea. I'll also probably do that, in addition to Beamer's and M0le's suggestions.

Give me a few days. I'm thinking if I say yes, that ONLY you would be able to post questions. (Regardless who won, unless it was me.)
Kind of like a trial run.

*damn, a triple-post. I apologize again, and won't post until someone else does.*
If Beamer's free, and Zeep agrees, then the probability of me saying yes is getting higher.

Sorry Zeep. I just want a confirmed poster, kind of like I was. (No offense, but you don't sound reliable, based on your posts.)

I don't sound reliable? I suppose I can't blame you...  tongue

I can assure you, that any school day between now and summer, I would be able to post at least one question per day, in the late afternoon or early evening.

Tell you what. Let's try doing a little "trial run". I'll do a Trivia Champion game for about 2 weeks, and we can see how that goes. How's that sound?

^That's the whole point. I want to be absolutely certain that 4 questions per day can be posted. At the following rate, if the game starts on January 8, 2005 (and with 50 questions overall), it should end around January 20, 2004.

Well, 4 questions a day would be a little rough, but now that i think about it, I don't have to do crew until mid-february, so I'm free every afternoon.

So in other words, I *should* be able to do 4 questions a day, nearly every day (maybe one missed question a week) at least for about a month.

also, i just noticed this:

I definately can't go so fast that the game moves backwards through time.

*hopefully the last double-post*

I just decided. The answer is no. The lamest reason on Earth? I think it looks cooler if I have the chance to be Trivia Champion V, instead of Trivia Champion IV.

But I have decided, and I will continue this game. (The "in a few days" will be when I post a date for the beginning.)
