*****ANNOUCEMENT*****

-Forget Q44. It's obvious who the winner is, so I'll annouce it now.

Congratulations Beamer.

-You are the Futurama Trivia Champion II champion. You obviously now alot about Futurama. (Plus, you have alot of free time.)

-I hope everyone had fun. Feel free to post your comments on how you think this game went, and how I can improve it for Futurama Trivia Champion III.

-Futurama Trivia Champion III will start on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at 4:00p.m. [pacific standard time].

-Make sure to tell everyone you can! See you next time. (When the game starts, I'll put "FURURAMA TRIVIA CHAMPION III" at the top of my post.)

Well, it was a fun game. Congratulations on winning the new Trivia Champion, Beamer!  :D
Although, for #38, I looked back to this scene in 'Bendin' in the Wind' and:

Hurrah, I'm Futurama Trivia Champion II! Although I suspect it's more-or-less due to me having lots of free time than my knowledge of Futurama.  :p

As for Futurama Trivia Champion III, I'd personally like to see less open-ended questions, and more questions related to the actual show itself (I think some questions were a little hard on people who didn't own the game/comics/DVDs, etc.). Still, I enjoyed the competition a lot... especially the part where I won.  ;)

Looking forward to contest #3!

Forgive me for sounding so dumb, but what do you mean by "open-ended questions"? Can you give me an example.

Well, quite a few of the questions you asked could have had more than one possible answer (you probably read some of our complaints about these in the earlier pages). You should go for questions that really only have one possible answer.

Anyway, if you want Beamer to not be so fast at answering in the next Futurama Trivia Champion contest, simply vote him for POTM!

Ah, blackmail is fun...  :p

Fourth place?  That's not even a fancy word for losing.  Oh well, at least this proves I have a life.

Hmm...which would I rather have...a girlfriend whom I spoil rotten, a video game addiction, and friends, or the adoration of anonymous nerds...

I can't decide dammit!  I'll be back, when you least expect it...NEXT FUTURAMA TRIVIA CHAMPION! Ho Ho Ho!

EDIT: DAMMIT!

It doesn't matter at all. I'm just pointing it out, considering that when I was looking at it so I could answer the question that was the exact scene I looked at. Anyway, no point pursuing it, I would have lost regardless. So let's just blame it on the animators.  :)

I looked at the scene where they first show him in the hospital. (When he's lying on the bed.) I counted 7.

Nonetheless, there's a fair sized scene with only six. But let's leave it at that.

***FUTURAMA TRIVIA CHAMPION III***
(Read the rules. Some new things.)

Welcome everyone!

Anyone can play this game. (There is no limit to the number of people that want to participate.)
Just to refresh everyone's heads, here are the rules:

Rules:
1.)No one will be eliminated. Whenever I post a new question, anyone can answer it, and you will be awarded points, depending on what place you answered. (More on points later.)

2.)The questions will cover all topics I can remember that are related to Futurama. (For example: episodes, comics, DVD sets, DVD commentary, quotes, etc... [Mostly episodes, & DVD sets.])

3.)There will be about 40-50 questions per game. (Give or take a few.) I will announce what the number is when there are ten questions left.

4.)You are not allowed to edit your post. If you do, you will be subtracted [5]pts. If you made a mistake in your post, e-mail me what you meant to say. DO NOT EDIT. Again, if you do so, you will be subtracted [5]pts. But if you want to repost, then you are welcome to do so, as long as you do not help anyone come up with the answer. (But do not edit your post. By now, you know what will happen if you do.)

5.)Whenever I mention a time, it will be in Pacific Standard Time. With that being said, there will be questions posted at 4:00p.m.[pst], 6:00p.m.[pst], 8:00p.m.[pst], and 10:00p.m.[pst]. I may be late, so give me 15 minutes. If I do not post a question by then, then wait until the next time, and then I will post a question.

6.)After every 7th question (ex. 7th question, 14th question, 21st question, etc...), I will post a Bonus Question that is worth [5]pts. Only the first person to answer will collect the points. (This question can be posted at any time, after at least 1 1/2hrs. have passed since the 7th question was posted.)

Point System:
1st= [5]pts.
2nd= [4]pts.
3rd= [3]pts.
4th= [2]pts.
5th and beyond = [1]pt.

+++GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL+++

Now with all the rules out of the way:

Your goal is to dethrone <Beamer> , who is the current Futurama Trivia Champion.

The game will start now, in my next post. (Yes, I will double-post, but only so no one will get confused with finding the new question.)

Q2: In "Anthology Of Interest II", where are the scientists in the Academy Of Science building from?

*I'm taking this from my English classes. Over the years, I've learned asking where people are from usually means where they were born, or where they came from.*

-Zeep: [4]pts.
