"That he surely did not." -- This is Rich Little impersonating _Howard Cosell_, not Marv Albert.  (For those of you too young to remember him -- I mean, even I am almost too young to remember him, and I'm OLD -- Cosell was THE sportscaster of the '70s.)

Marv Albert, as you may remember, covered what he thought would be a "by-the-numbers athletic contest with no surprises whatsoever" between the Globetrotters and the Atomic Supermen.  However, time kept on slipping....
