If you could, would you freeze yourself to go to the future and meet Leela,Fry,Bender,Zoidberg,Hermes,Amy,And Farnsworth?

Isn't there a thread like this? It's about "Could you survive in the future" or something like that.

If the future were guaranteed to be like it was in the show, sure.  I'd be the smartest one there, assuming I wasn't dumbed down to fit in with the cartoon characters.

The thought of actually going to/freezing myself until the distant future doesn't sound that appealing.  I've got too much I like and am comfortable with here.

If I got transformed and sent to the future, I have a nagging feeling that I'd end up as Cubert...

I am going to the future...one day at a time.

I would love to freeze myself until they figure out the secrets to time travel and immortality.  But then, so would a lot of people who have a lot more resources than I do to make it happen.

No...I'm pretty content with my life. Plus I don't think I could handle baconated grapefruit.

I'd go in a heartbeat, be happy for about four hours, and die of starvation when I realised that I forgot my wallet.

I, on the other hand, would love boconated grapefruit. However, I don't have enough faith in humanity to think that the world will still be liveable a thousand years from now. It'd sort of suck to freeze yourself, then have yourself be destroyed in some sort of apocalyptic blast before you could wake up again. But if, like NOR said, the future would be exactly like it is on futurama, I'd be the first one on the list to go to the future.

I was going to make a crack about "Emperor Vitaman", but in doing some quick research as to other "rank" cereals that could be parodied, I found this site, apparently THE definitive work on breakfast cereals, real and fictional.  It's totally off-topic, but I command you to check it out anyway.

[smug] I made a thread about this a few months ago, but it was mostly about cryogenics and if you would sacrifice everything you had now for a chance of an awesome future time.  It was a pretty depressing idea, I thought.  You can check it all out here

I would go into the future if I could come back to the present, and bring a racing form.
