on the DVD you dont get to see them, only hear them.

Tale of two santas: Instead of clicking on "Play eposide" select the screen next to it to play table read

TDHAIPT: select the brown sauce pan looking thing. Then the robot devils hands will appear onthe screen, select them to here table read.

Table reads are when the voice actors get together and read the original draft of the script (around a table.)  This is get the actors familiar with their lines, as well as to tweek anything that needs tweeking.

It's also at the table read where you notice they've had to do some serious voice tweaking to get the speaking tones right, especially in the musical numbers.

To find the Christmas message, go up from "Play Episode" and Santa's hat will appear, click on that and it starts. Or is it the other way around?  :hmpf: I haven't done it in a while...

I just finished listening to the table read for "A Tale of Two Santas" and just have one question.  I know John Dimaggio does Santa's voice in that ep, but was Maurice LaMarche doing the voiceover in the table read for Santa?  It kinda sounded like him.

EDIT: Like Fry I've got stupid fingers, had to correct some typos.

Yeah, it was. They were probably just using him as a stand-in for the time being. They may not have known at that point that John Goodman wouldn't be able to do it like he did in the first one.

I think LaMarche also does Bender's voice in the read for Devils Hands...
