I may be a new one, but I do realize (unlike FOX) that there are many people who want to see at least 1 new episode.

I've seen up to 10,000 signatures at one sight for calling FUTURAMA back. This seems to be futile against the great Network Computer President and his Execubots.

Now, I've also seen the many ideas for bringing FUTURAMA back. Some are very weird.

Whilst thinking during class today in English, I thought of a different approach to maybe bringing FUTURAMA back. I know that many of you will spit on the idea and move on, that's okay. But hear me out.

Since FOX isn't considering the thought of funding FUTURAMA back to life, maybe we need someone else to pay the price. Since this amount to create an episode is around $1,000,000 it is quite hard.

I propose that maybe we privately fund a single last episode. We could set up a fund to collect money from fans and once we have enough, send it off to the people whom make the eps and let them make a last one.

It doesn't require much money per person. if we got 10,000 people to pay $100 each, we would have our episode. This is unlikely, but considering the large fanbase, we could spread the word and get others to pay just a little money.

Of course we would need someone to distribute the show. FOX seems the obvious choice. They can use this single new episode as a pilot to base their decision on whether or not to go ahead and pay for more.

Of course, there has to be a catch right? Of course. We would supply the Curiosity Company with money, with some terms. You know like it has to be at least 25 mins, and must uncover some mystery over what had happened after "The Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings". FOX of course, needs to suffer somehow through this deal. Therefore, they will only get a share of the profit money. The rest could go into the fund for any future eps if FOX decides to bring back FUTURAMA fully, and could use the money to help in the funding.

In any case, if this was to suceed, everybody would win. The fans have something to watch, FOX has money from an episode which they didn't have to pay for, and maybe the fans can get another season.

That's my idea. Now, post your ideas below and yes, you can shoot my idea down, but I'm beginning to think this is our only hope to SEE AT LEAST ONE LAST EPISODE!

P.S. if u do shoot me down. well then  :finger: u!

if u are supportive, then thanks, it is my first posting.

Yeah, like I'm going to send 100 dollars in cash in the mail to a complete stranger. Listen buddy, why don't you just sit back and accept that there won't be any new episodes like the rest of us have? Don't make me eat your brain.
