What... the... shit?

Man, that's pretty weird. Is it airing on TV or just on the website?

Unknown ... that was just some weird-ass tribute to Matt.  We're still waiting on actually seeing Matt himself on [as].  You'll surely find out here as soon as one of us gets some sort of confirmation.

Looks like it'll be a while before Matt goes on [as], if at all. Just checked the [as] Futurama schedule, and Space Pilot 3000 is scheduled to show October 23. Oh well, just another hope dashed.

That is the most bizzare movie I have ever seen.

Yeah, I saw that today too.   :( [Tinny Tim]They've raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly.[/Tinny Tim]  I'm holding out on the hope that they put the normal schedule in for now, but will be changing that.  I think that's what happened with Seth Week, but I can't remember.  But it looks as if Adult Swim has pulled a FOX on us.   :(

Unless of course Matt's the one introducing the episode.

The pilot is supposed to be one of his fav's.

^Hey, I never thought of that. But we'll just have to wait a few more days to see the schedule. If it goes in order for too long, then it's obvious it's not gonna be Matt week. Plus, wouldn't they start intros on Monday? When does [as] start their airing week anyway? Saturday or Monday?

Y'know, I don't know!  I'd think they would put Futurama back on Sundays first, so they can have five consecutive days.  Though I believe they did just bump it up to 11:00 pm, so they could be ramping up for it.  I just tried to check to confirm that, but the whole schedule's apparently down, which may mean they're revamping it as we speak.

The one following it is "The Series Has Landed", so I think we can abandon that theory.

We likely wont see it until after the U.S. election on November 2nd.  With the election this close they may just see it as a bad time to be launching any special promotions or runs like this.  It would be completely overshadowed by the election.  I know personally I wouldn't be able to focus on Futurama (no matter how much I love it) once the the election is literally that soon.

When [as] had Seth week, did they air it after a season airing ended, or did they interupt a season airing? That could mean everything.

They interrupted a season airing.  Also, the week before, they skipped one of the episodes that would be part of Seth's week.

November is a sweeps month.  Since I assume Groening will be a relatively big draw for the channel.  They're going to save the big guns for when the advertisors are ready.

That's true too, and I actually had not considered that...
