Hey, all.  I'm new here.  I've been stationed overseas with the Army for five years, so I missed all the good Futurama action back home.  But I got all four seasons on DVD this weekend, haven't slept and haven't turned off the TV for four days.  I really, really love this show and it's nice to find some friends online who can appreciate my somewhat off sense of humor and twisted addiction to this show.

I just started listening to the DVD commentaries, too.  They mentioned the Internet and Futurama forums on the commentaries, and this is the forums I gravitated to - good stuff in here.

BTW - does Kristin Gore have the sexiest voice or what?

Indeed you are, the ranks system here is explained in the PEELers' FAQ along with other useful info.

It's nice to see yet more new people finding Futurama.

Checked out the F.A.Q.s, including the one on rankings.  My problem is, once I reach "Bending Unit" status, I'll have realized my wildest dreams and must stop posting to prevent becoming something else.  Unless, of course, I become Space Pope one day.  Now that's a title.

And yeah, I noticed a anomolous lack of said "Newbie" threads.

Imminent closure of thread has now been added to my Outlook calendar.*italic-text**italic-text*

I am sorry, Adam, but I don't quite understand how you were enlisted in the US Army while living in Stuttgart. Did you volunteer?
